In a dummy teat having a safety plate (1) and an elastic body (2) comprising a teat section (3) and a convexly bent section (4) simulating the mother's breast, the safety plate (1) is covered by the convexly bent section (4) whose teat part side has a softness which corresponds to the softness of the mother's breast, and avoids an unphysiological strain on the infantile tissue, hence preventing maldevelopment of jaws, teeth, tooth positions and soft tissues as well as unnatural reflex modification, due to its shape being similar to the natural situation and due to its dimensional behaviour, and provides optimum hygienic conditions.
