The object of the invention is a roof waterproofing sheet, the surface of which is both readily adhesive and skidproof and therefore permits installation without risk even on pitched roof surfaces. It consists of a conventional non-scattered bituminous roofing sheet which is laminated at least on its top side with a perforated and needle-punched metal foil or plastics film, the surfaces not covered being separated with sand. The underside can bear a conventional mineral surfacing or lamination, such as for example a thermal insulating layer or be designed in the same way as the top side. The hole diameter is preferably 3 to 8 mm with a hole spacing of 6 to 20 mm.
