PURPOSE:To improve fuel atomization to start an engine surely and smoothly by connecting as fuel inflow port to an air intake passage into a plunger chamber in communication with each other, and blowing out an air-fuel mixture through an injection nozzle into a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Air is drawn into a plunger chamber 33 during the return stroke of the plunger 32 driven in synchronization with revolution of an engine. A fuel inflow port 28 is connected to an air intake passage 36 into the plunger chamber 33 in communication with each other. An air-fuel mixture is blown out through an injection nozzle 18 into compressed suction air in a cylinder 7. A means for maintaining the plunger in a forced state is provided to maintain a forced state in which the plunger 32 is advanced up to its end position till the suction stroke of the cylinder 7 begins. Thus, fuel atomization can be improved to start the engine surely and smoothly. |
