PURPOSE:To enable remote operation by pressing the tip wedgelike part of a retainer between a main device body and a columnar body and fixing the main device body to the columnar body detachably, moving up and down an elevation member and a swivel member and setting a liquid penetration flaw detecting device opposite the flaw detection part of the columnar body, and inspecting the flaw of the columnar body. CONSTITUTION:A gear case 12, a tool support base 13, and a brush 23 swivel around a driving shaft housing 34. The entire peripheral surface of an intermediate canopy seal 57 is brushed and produced coarse particulates are recovered through a suction pipe 24. Then, the peak part of a penetrant spray container 24 is pushed up to spout a penetrant from a spray nozzle 29 to the intermediate canopy seal 56 through a tube 28. In this case, the height adjustment and swiveling of the spray nozzle 29 are performed by a motor 7 for elevation and a motor 14 for swiveling to stick the penetrant on the entire peripheral surface of the intermediate canopy seal 57.
