Tractor-drawn spinach mowing machine - has endless transporter belts, moving spinach through opening then forming swath

The mowing beam (3) has two rows (4,5) of cutting knives. The top row (4) is movable back and forwards via a PTO and drive pulleys (6) w.r.t. the bottom row of knives (5). The spinach stalks are cut between the reciprocating knives. After mowing, the spinach is heaped on the mowing beam in front of transporter belts (11,12). The endless transporters are spaced to leave an opening (13) and run counter clockwise. A swath (16) is formed after the spinach passes an opening (13). The transporter belt transmission is via an hydraulic motor (17) and V-belt units. The transporter belts may have an equispaced peripheral mounted spike which improves output.
