A closure element for the gas-tight closure of a toy balloon has a covering part with at least one cutout and a bearing part with at least one projection which is associated with the cutout of the covering part and is dimensioned such that it can be inserted in the cutout of the covering part in a clamping manner with interposition of the filling nozzle of a balloon.
