2-(o-Carboxyphenylamine)-6H-pyrimido[2,1-b]-6-quinazolone having the following structural formula: <IMAGE> derivatives of 2-(o-carboxyphenylamino)-6H-pyrimido[2,1-b]- 6-quinazolone having the following structural formula: <IMAGE> in which A<+> denotes alkali metals, monoethanolamine or diethylamine, derivatives of 2-(o-carboxyphenylamino)-6H-pyrimido[2,1-b]- 6-quinazolone having the following structural formula: <IMAGE> in which R represents -OH, C1 to C4 alkoxy, NHR' where R' represents -H, C1 to C4 alkyl, phenyl or aralkyl and A represents inorganic acid, and also derivatives of 2-(o-carboxyphenylamino)-6H-pyrimido[2,1-b]- 6-quinazolone with the following structural formula: <IMAGE> in which R denotes C1 to C4 alkoxy or NHR' where R' denotes C1 to C4 alkyl, are described. A process for the preparation of the compounds according to the invention and medicaments which contain them are additionally disclosed.
