PURPOSE:To make a simple construction eliminating any ink ribbon and recoating mechanism by arranging a cylindrical heat sensing ink formed like a cylinder and a melting heater on the circumference thereof. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 5 is sandwitched by a cylindrical heat sensing ink 3 mounted detachably on a rotating shaft 2 suported on a bearing 1 and a heat generating element 4. When the heat generating element 4 is energized with a driver to generate heat selectively, the temperature of the recording medium 5 contacting the heated part rises and the cylindrical heat sensing ink melts on the circumference thereof contacting the heated part, attaching to the recording medium 5. Irregularities on the circumference of the cylindrical heat sensing ink 3 as caused by printing can be corrected by melting the surface layer of the heat sensing ink with the melting heater 8. |
