PURPOSE:To shorten a transmission time and to simplify the constitution of a device, by transmitting clock pulses for synchronization for sending out successively pulse signals as many as data at intervals of a specific time, together with the data following the pulses. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 10 and a receiver 30 are connected together by an optical transmission line 20 and input data is stored as digital data in the memory circuit 11 of the transmitter 10. Further, a clock circuit 12 outputs a pulse signal at the specific interval to the clock for the synchronization. Those pulses are counted by a counter circuit 13, whose output is sent to a control circuit 14. The circuit 14 controls a nonsignal period, idle, and a start pulse on the basis of the output signal of the circuit 13, and addresses of the circuit 11 are changed successively to transfer respective data and to erase the data after the transfer. Then, a clock/data synthesizing circuit 16, modulating circuit 17, etc., transmits clock pulses and data following the clock pulses together to shorten the transmission time by the simple constitution. |
