PURPOSE:To reduce the space occupied by a propelling machine by providing an engine unit on the upper part of a clutch box for making changeover between forward and backwared movements and attaching a water pump around the clutch box. CONSTITUTION:An engine unit 15 is mounted on the upper part of a clutch box 14 housing a forward and backward movement changeover mechanism 19 and power is transmitted to said engine unit via a gear 27. A water pump 31 is attached around the clutch box 14. Hereby, the space occupied by these parts is reduced, allowing a vessel bottom 12 to be effectively used. |
