PURPOSE:To perform n-level gradation recording, by providing (n) different kinds of voltage generating source, a means for selecting their voltages, and (n) units of storage elements. CONSTITUTION:A switching means 7 is switched to the side of a storage element 5 by a switching signal from a line 9 and a switching means 81 is switched to a high voltage -E1V. At this time, when the output of the storage element 5 is at 0V, a transistor TR1 is off and an output terminal T3 is at 0V corresponding to a white level. Further, when the output of the storage element 5 is at a high level of +5V, the TR1 turns on and the output terminal T3 is at -E1V corresponding to a black level. Then, the switching means 7 is switched to the side of a storage element 6 and a switching means 81 is switched to the side of a -E2V high voltage to perform gray recording. Namely, the TR1 is turned on and off corresponding to the output of the storage element 6 to generate the -E2V high voltage corresponding to a proper gray level at the output terminal T3. |
