The inflatable ski float (3) has stiffening rods, sticks tubes or laths, exterior to the float bottom. A foot entry space (6) is formed as a flexible wall chamber. The walls (2) longitudinally abut over the main part of their height and recede w.r.t. each other toward the float bottom. The walls along the top edge and the enlarged lower part are fixed all round to the float wall and bottom. The stiffening members (4) are attached to the float bottom by eyes (5) fixed to the float base. The stiffening can be provided by aluminium thin-wall tubes with end sealing caps.
