The method and device for wrapping substantially flat shape articles in the food industry, particularly chocolate slabs or sticks, with a wrapping sheet, should provide for a tubular wrapping, particularly to introduce flat articles such as chocolate slabs or sticks (1). A high efficiency of the machine, without any particular requirement as to the wrapping sheet (5), and an economical utilization of the wrapping material are achieved owing to the transport of the sheet by an intermittent connection of the sheet (5) and the driver (3). |
