<p>When the visual contact with a flying object (6) is not permanent, it is provided in order to hit said flying object as well as its launching base to fire a rocket (2) with two tracking heads (3, 4) in the trace (7) left by the exhaust gas of the flying object motor. In the proximity of the trace, the two heads are dettached by explosion and sent back in opposite directions while following the trace (7) and are guided along the trace according to criteria based on measurements (by probes) towards the flying object (6) and the launching base of said flying object.
