Display device of a mirror-reflex camera having an automatic, electric control for exposure time and aperture

The patent application is based on a mirror-reflex camera which enables by means of interchangeable or reversible optical devices the viewing of the normally reversed focusing screen image directly or in a non-reversed fashion, according to choice. In order for the numerical displays of the exposure and focusing values mounted in the focusing screen plane at the edge of the viewfinder image to remain legible even in the case of non-reversed viewing, there is provided an electric lateral reversal of the numerical 7-segment displays which automatically becomes active in the event of switching on or reversing the optical lateral reversal of the image. As a result, each focusing method can be based on the focusing screen image, and the camera need not be removed from the eye in any focusing method in order to read off the exposure and focusing values.
