In the process, a nitrosation is carried out by adding an aqueous solution of sodium nitrite to a solution which contains 1 part by weight of an N,N-disubstituted amine which is dissolved in 3 to 30 parts by weight of an organic acid, the nitrosated product is then reduced to an N,N-disubstituted hydrazine by addition of a reducing agent to the mixture containing the nitrosated product, and a carbonyl compound of the formula

in which A denotes an aromatic hydrocarbon group or an aromatic heterocyclic group, which groups can contain a substituent, and B denotes a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or an aromatic heterocyclic group, which groups can contain a substituent, is then added to the mixture containing the N,N-disubstituted hydrazine, as a result of which condensation of the N,N-disubstituted hydrazine with the carbonyl compound is carried out. |
