<p>PURPOSE:To retrieve and edit a document part easily, by storing an optional part in a memory to which a document is inputted as a picture in accordacne with a specific code formed as a bookmarker type and registering and erasing the picture by the specific code. CONSTITUTION:A document inputted from a document input part 1 is stored in a memory 5 as a picture by the indication of a controlling part 3 and data are stored in a document controlling memory 7. When a ''bookmarker'' command and a bookmarker name A are inputted from a command input part 2, the document name and page number in displaying at present or indicated which are stored in a display and printing work memory in the controlling part 3 are read out and written in a bookmarker memory 9 together with a reading bookmarker reset signal and the bookmarker name A through a controlling part 8. When the retrieval of the bookmarker is commanded from a command part 2, the bookmarker specified from the bookmarker memory 9 is retrieved through the bookmarker controlling part 8 and sent to the controlling part 3 and the document concerned is read out from the document memory 7, displayed and printed out. Thus, the document is easily retrieved and edited.</p> |
