PURPOSE:To precisely measure the pressure and flow rate and consequently run a turbine efficiently by a method wherein the outside of the piping for detection is cooled by cooling water in a turbine-driven electric power plant employing low-boiling point medium. CONSTITUTION:A turbine-driven electric power plant has an evaporator 1 and a condenser 5. Cooling water fed by a cooling water pump 6 is boosted by a booster pump 17 and circulated through the cooling pipe 18 spirally wound round a pressure detector piping 9, resulting in preventing the low-boiling point medium within the pressure detector piping from being evaporated due to the outside air. The cooling water is circulated for the similar purpose through the cooling water pipe 19 of a differential pressure detector piping and the cooling pipe 20 of a level detector piping and, after that, joined to the drain pipe 21 of the cooling water of the condenser 5. In such a manner as mentioned above, the pressure and flow rate are precisely measured, resulting in efficiently running the turbine. |
