PURPOSE:To reduce a deflection of a rod-like rotary part having a long length, by carrying out the secondary working process to the peripheries of both ends of shaft parts which are rotatably supported by bearings, when the shaft parts project from both end faces of a rod-like formed part and when the rod-like formed part has a warp. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral surface of a formed part is chucked at two positions A1, A2 where the warp is e1/2, to carry out a cutting process to shaft parts 2, 2. Thereby, the shaft parts is cut in such a way that the line B-B passing through the centers O1, O2 of the cross-sections of the formed part at the positions A1, A2 is used as the rotary axis, and the axis of the shaft part 2, 2 is also aligned with the line B-B. Accordingly, when the shaft part 2, 2 which is supported by bearings, is rotated, a deflection of this part may be limited only to a value e1 caused by the warp of the formed part. For this purpose, the chucking of the part is held by pawls 8 and projections 10. |
