METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASURING MATERIAL BODY

PURPOSE:To measure a shape of a material body of high temp. or deformable easily by expressing automatically and approximately the shape of the meterial body to be measured or the color, pattern, etc. of the material body by using computer device to measure the material body. CONSTITUTION:Outputs of plural video cameras 2 arranged around the material body to be measured are inputted to a calibrating device 4 and an approximating device 5 through a picturing device 3, furthermore inputted to a conical form device 6 having a function calculating the conical form. A video signal of a class inputted to each conical body device 6 is inputted to a calculator 7 having a function calculating simultaneously one polyhedron, and then inputted to a display device 10 through an output unit 9 having an output function through an adding device 8 having a function for adding surface information.
