PURPOSE:To rotate both rotors without contacting mutually and reduce noise and vibration by a method wherein the length of a part of the rotor, in which both rotors are meshing with each other to transmit a contact power, is limited while a gap is formed between the profiles of both rotors in the other part of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:Both rotors 11, 12 are meshing and contacting with each other in a predetermined part 1 of the total length L of the rotor unit while a relief delta, designed so as to be smaller by a value less than 0.3% of the outer diameter of a male rotor 11, is provided between both rotors 11, 12 in the other part or the most part (L-1) of the total length L, thus, both rotors are constituted so as not to be contacting with each other at the meshing part thereof. The value is minimized to minimize leakage from the gap. According to this method, the rotation transmitting accuracy of the rotors is improved, therefore, the generation of noise may be reduced since the vibrations of the rotors may be reduced. |
