Punch card control device for the automatic control of machines

To obtain additional program information which can be added as required to permanently programmed operating processes, additional switches (44) are provided in a punch card control device for washing machines. A hinged plate (49) is provided with a control pin (60) which projects into the movement path of the punch cards (3). Due to peripheral recesses in the punch card and with a pressure spring (65), the control pin assumes two defined positions and thus swings the hinged plate (49) between two positions. The hinged plate is provided with a cam plate (55) which can be pivoted under spring pressure and together with a switch pin produces the setting and resetting conditions for the switch. The switch pin and the cam plate engage in only one of the two positions of the hinged plate. <IMAGE>
