The dust-filter cone having a drivable and movable grate (8) has a cone-shaped housing (1) with a discharge opening (4) which can be closed by a cone (bevel-seated valve) (5) linked to the valve shaft (6). The cone is provided with chain-like suspensions (16) which are attached at one end to the cone valve (5) and at the other end to the upper part (7) of the funnel-shaped housing (1) by means of springs (18). The suspensions (16) are set in motion by means of the valve shaft (6) linked to the cone valve (5). As a result of this design, the angle of inclination of the wall (2) and, consequently, the height and size of the cone can be reduced. This invention is suitable for the chemical, mining, construction, metallurgical and other industries. <IMAGE>
