PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material capable of reducing a variance of the obtd. color image and having an improved shelf life by incorporating a specific yellow colored coupler to >=1 layer of the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The color image is formed by developing the silver halide photographic emulsion layer which is obtd. by image-wisely exposing with a developer composed of an aromatic primary amine in the presence of the yellow colored coupler shown by the formula. The yellow colored coupler shown by the formula is substd. a hydrogen atom positioned at an active position with 4-cyanophenoxy group or 2-chloro-4-cyanophenoxy group, and has chlorine atom or an alkoxy group at 2 position of alpha-acylacetoanilide, and an alkyl sulfonamide group or an aryl sulfonamide group at 5 position thereof respectively. Thus, the variance of the color image is reduced, and the shelf life is improved. |
