PURPOSE:To eliminate backlash for a short time without influencing the accuracy of a working shape, by providing the titled device with a backlash compensating circuit and two position detectors to increase a command pulse corresponding to the backlash quantity at the inversion of a direction. CONSTITUTION:When a movement command direction is changed, a backlash compnsating pulse Pb equal to a previouly set value is generated and composed of a position detecting pulse P1 generated from the 1st position detector RSV by the 1st composing circuit CPC1 to form the 1st feedback pulse Pf1, which is inputted to the 2nd composing circuit CPC2 and the 4th composing circuit CPC4. The 2nd composing circuit CPC2 combines the backlash compensating pulse Pb with a position detecting pulse P2 from the 2nd position detector IND to generate the 2nd feedback pulse Pf2. The 4th composing circuit CPC4 combines Pf2, Pf1 and a command pulse count PC. Consequently, the command pulse count is increased for a short time by the quantity corresponding to the backlash value and the acceleration of a motor MT is increased, so that the backlash value is compensated for a short time. |
