<p>The guide way of the pattern rides ina guide component on the sewing machine bed which, with the action of double concentric driving wheels gives an intermittent pattern movement in the required curved path. The smaller drive wheel operates on the pattern edge, while the larger drive wheel works with driving zones inside the pattern edge. The purpose is to move the pattern in a curved path during sewing by keeping the pattern static when the needle is in the fabric, and to move it on needle withdrawal.</p> |
