PURPOSE:To provide an air vent valve which is small and light-weight, however, is capable of withstanding fluid, if it is high, can ensure sufficiently large bore of a valve opening thereof, frees of trouble, and may be provided with the enhanced exhausting ability by constituting the valve that the inner volume of a float which floats up and down in accordance with the level of fluid may be varied according to the pressure of said fluid. CONSTITUTION:The valve box 1 of an air vent valve has a fluid induction opening 5 in the bottom face thereof and an exhaust opening 6 at the upper part thereof and includes a float 9. A separation membrane 12 which is made of soft rubber or other flexible materials divides the inside of the float 9 into an upper chamber 13 and a lower chamber 14. A small-diameter communicating aperture 15 is opened in the middle part of the face of a float bottom 11. The inner volume of the float 9 becomes smaller along with increase in pressure of fluid in the valve box 1 and the inner pressure thereof is maintained equal to the pressure of the fluid so that neither a compressive force nor a tensile force will act on a float top 10, the float bottom 11 and the separation membrane 12, on account of which the float 9 may be fabricated in the thin form. |
