PURPOSE:To provide a surface allowing a superior adhering characteristic of coating etc. by a method wherein shot material consisting of major constituents of alumina and silica with specific weight of 2.5 or less is injected, in a processing of bare surface for coating such as a metal etc. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air is injected into a mixing chamber 2 from a nozzle 1, shot material is sucked up from a supplying pipe 3, ejected at a high speed from an injection hole 4 and then blown on the surface of object to be surface treated such as metal, synthetic resin or ceramics. The shot material is of a specific weight of 2.5 or less, composed of SiO2 and Al2O3, the total weight of each of the constituents is 70 to 90wt%, the content of SiO2 is at least larger than that of Al2O3 and its major grain diameter is 4 to 300mum. With this blow, the surface of object to be treated is made to show a finely rugged surface and irregularly deep spike-shaped corrugation is formed therein, resulting in that surface coating characteristic for such material as allowing less adhesion of coating, plating etc. may be improved. |
