PURPOSE:To permit enough highly accurate fuel injection amount control even in using comparatively low accuracy rotary solenoid or spilling position sensor by a method wherein the inclination of a reed, a cam mechanism and the like are provided in the pump. CONSTITUTION:The spill port 6 of a fuel distributing member 2 is operated so as to move into the right direction in the diagram with respect to the reed 19 of the spill ring 17, therefore, the amount of the rotating angular displacement of the fuel distributing member 2, corresponding to a period of time from the beginning of fuel sending at the position shown in the diagram to the finish of injection after the overflow of the fuel, becomes theta1. On the other hand, in case the spill ring 17 is provided by DELTAtheta' into the left direction from above- described condition in the diagram, the spill ring 17 moves by a length L by a reciprocating cam 18 and a cam pin 20, therefore, the amount of rotating angular displacement becomes theta2. Accordingly, theta' may be taken large enough and the change of injection time DELTAtheta=theta2-theta1 may be controlled highly accurately. |
