PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a device with common use of one photoelectric converting element by guiding reflected light from or transmitted light through plural state detecting parts via an optical fiber, in a facsimile, etc. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 17 outputs each LED driving signal from an output port 18 with an initial setting instruction, and thereby, only a light emitting diode LED1 that is a state detecting part is firstly lighted, and an output from an A/D converter 16 via an optical fiber 11 and a common photoelectric converting element 15 is calculated into threshold voltage to be stored in an RAM19. Subsequently, LED2-LED4 are lighted in this sequence and similarly stored in the RAM9. Then, these signals are stored into a non-volatile memory in the RAM19 by means of a storing pulse from an output port 20. Then, the LED1-LED4 are successively lighted in time division, its output from the A/D converter 16 is compared with the previously stored threshold voltage, and prescribed processing is performed according to the recognized result of the state change. |
