PURPOSE:To improve the effect of covering by compacting the surface layer of an accumulation of coal or the like in open-air storage through mechanical or liquid dispersion processing and subsequently daubing it with covering paint which turns insoluble in water after being dried up. CONSTITUTION:The surface layer of an accumulation in open air-storage is compacted through a mechanical shock, pressurization or the like or dispersion of water or the like. Then, paint belonging to water emulsion family or the like, and turning insoluble in water after being dried up, with pulverized grain of a material same as or similar to the accumulation in open-air storage and serving as filler, is daubed on the accumulation so as to form a 1-10mm. thick film of paint. Since the groundwork is compacted, uniformity, continuity and durability of the film is improved to raise the effect of covering. |
