PURPOSE:To cancel the distortion produced at a light emitting diode, by connecting a nonlinear element in series with the pre-stage of a drive circuit driving the light emitting diode. CONSTITUTION:A nonlinear compensating circuit 2 is inserted to the pre-stage of a drive circuit 3 driving the light emitting diode 4. An analog input signal 1 is applied to the light emitting diode 4 via the circuits 2, 3 and the nonlinear distortion of the light emitting diode 4 is cancelled with the nonlinear compensating circuit 2. The nonlinear compensating circuit 2 is constituted of components such as a diode 5 having a characteristic cancelling the ternary distortion of the light emitting diode 4, a choke coil 6 blocking a signal of an IF or a VHF band and bias current adjusting resistor 7 of the diode 5 as shown in Figure. |
