PURPOSE:To reduce the number of abnormality display units and simplify the structure by allowing a copy quantity display section to display the abnormality or null paper and also to return to the quantity display section by the setting of a set section. CONSTITUTION:During continuous copying, the paper is fed from the cassette of an attachment 13, the copy quantity is set by keys 46b, 46c of its operation section 46 to be displayed on a display unit 46a and cleared by a key 46d. The machine is started by a key 47e, and if a halogen heater is short-circuited EO is blinked on the display unit 46a, if abnormality occurs on an original mount E2 is blinked, if a drum life is ended ''1'' is blinked respectively, and if no abnormality exists the display number is subtracted for every output from a paper discharge sensor. If a paper feed sensor detects null paper for a predetermined time P is displayed, if a jam exists a lamp 48b is blinked. When the paper is fed or the jam is removed, the machine is made stand-by to display ''1'', and if the key 47e is pressed again the display unit 46a is returned to the quantity display section. |
