PURPOSE:To attain a terminal device for remote control hardly susceptible to noise, by connecting a controller and a terminal device for control, and a main body of the terminal device and a keyboard, with an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The state of a controller D is fed to a display section 50 comprising a light source 50, driving circuit 54 and an optical switch group 53 via an interface C, converted into an optical signal and displayed on a display device 14 of a keyboard 11 via a fiber group 15a. A key group 12 performs on/ off-control of the optical signal transmitted from the light source 16 via a fiber 16, and transmits the signal to an OE (optical signal-electric signal) converter 17 via a fiber group 15b. An input converter 18 transmits the key signal to a transmission section 20 comprising an input buffer 21, a transmission register 22, an EO converter 23, and a control circuit 24. The key signal converted into the optical signal at the transmission section 20 is fed to a receiving section 40 comprising the OE converter, receiving register 42, output buffer 43 and a control circuit 44, and placed near the controller D via a fiber 30 to control the controller D. |
