PURPOSE:To improve the cooking function of the titled cooker to increase the safety thereof and to shorten the cooking time by providing a scorch spotting device in which a power source line is disposed in an insulated pipe made of an infrared ray permeating material. CONSTITUTION:A high-frequency wave generated from a magnetron 1 passes through a waveguide 2 and is absorbed by a material to be heated, which is placed in a heating chamber 3. The material 4 to be heated is rotatably placed on a rotary bedplate 9 for placing a material to be heated which is directly connected to a motor 11. An electric heater 5 is accommodated in a pipe 6 made of an infrared ray permeating heat resisting insulating material, and is disposed in the lateral direction forwardly of the upper surface of the heating chamber 3. Reference numeral 12 designates an infrared ray reflecting plate made of a metal material. Since the infrared reflecting plate 12 is disposed in the front of the electric heater 5, it cuts off almost all infrared rays absorbed by a transparent screen 8 or permeats the same, and reflects infrared rays toward the direction of the material 4 to be heated. Therefore, the heat efficiency is increased, and even when the user watches the interior of the heating chamber 3 from the front of the screen 8 for a long period of time, the user does not directly receive a strong and heavy radiation wave from the electric heater 5, and hence the safety of the apparatus is improved. |
