PURPOSE:To make possible manufacture of a synthetic resin pipe joint having a seal ring fitting recessed groove easily with a simple organization by moving and inserting a cylindrical auxiliary mold into a space formed by moving each movable block in the direction rectangular to the axis of a core mold. CONSTITUTION:Molten resin is injected fully into a cylindrical cavity A from an injection molding machine through a runner 126 to form a resin cylindrical body B. While the resin cylindrical body B is in a soft state, the movable blocks 112, 122 between a fixed mold part 11 and a moving mold part 12 are moved outside in the direction rectangular ti the axis of the core mold 2. Successively, a cylindrical auxiliary mold 3 is moved in the axial direction of the core mold 2, that tip part is guided to the space part wherein the movable blocks 112, 122 move to form a circular space along the peripheral direction on the external periphery of the resin cylindrical body B. Compressed fluid is jetted from an opening 22 through a compressed fluid passage 21, the wall of the resin cylindrial body B at the part is expanded to the circular space to form a pipe joint D. The joint is hardened and taken out. Hereafter, this operation is repeated cyclically. |
