<p>Apparatus for the removal and simultaneous turning of cut-to-length-hot strand sections (2') from run-out roller tables of a multistrand continuous casting machine and their deposition onto a cooling bed, is described. A pivotal lever (11) with a work receiving device, has a flank with an arcuate shaped configuration and confronts the cooling bed. The lever moving about an axis of rotation, is located below the level of the cooling bed and at the centre between the cooling bed (12) and the roller table. The run-out roller table is situated next to the cooling bed having a partially descending slide means which merges with the cooling bed.</p> |
