PURPOSE:To improve high rate discharge performance and low temperature discharge performance of a nonaqueous electrolyte battery by using a negative electrode comprising a light metal active material, a positive electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a mixed solute of LiCF3SO3 and LiClO4. CONSTITUTION:This nonaqueous electrolyte battery has a negative electrode using a light metal such as Li, Na as an active material, a positive electrode using metal oxides, sulfides, or halides as an active material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte comprising a solvent and a solute. By using a mixed solute of LiCF3 SO3 and LiClO4, low temperature discharge performance and high rate discharge performance are increased. Propylene carbonate and 1,2-dimethoxyethane are used as a solvent. |
