1400458 Fluorocarbon polymer coating compositions S A TEFAL 26 Sept 1972 [11 April 1972] 44425/72 Heading C3P A coating composition comprises an aqueous dispersion of unsintered fluorocarbon resin particles and sintered glaze particles with a melting point above 400‹ C., the proportion of resin being at least 100% of that of the glaze. The sintered glaze particles may be added to an aqueous dispersion of the fluorocarbon resin as an aqueous dispersion which may also contain grinding and hardening additives. In examples the polymer used is polytetrafluoromethylene and the compositions include sodium and potassium silicate, caustic potash and boric acid. The sintered glaze particles may contain mixtures of some of the following SiO 2 , B 2 O 3 , LiO 2 , Na 2 O, K 2 O, TiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , Sb 2 O 3 , NaF, AlF 3 , CaF 2 , ZnO, LiF, ZrO 2 , SnO 2 , CaO and P 2 O 5 . |
