PURPOSE:To prevent the unevenness of distribution of illuminance on a photoreceptor, by arranging one of a thermion generating source, an anode and a fluorescent substance at the center between lenses of a lens array, in a scanner used for a facsimile transmitter. CONSTITUTION:An electron stimulating fluorescent light source device 1 has a case 12 constituted with a base 10 comprising a bottom plate 5, two side plates 6, 7 and end plates 8, 9, and a cover plate 11, the anode 14 is formed at each side of a slit form light transmission section 13 provided in the lengthwise direction of the case 12, a film form fluorescent substance 15 is coated on it, and a filament 16 of the thermion generating source is stretched between the cover plate 11 and the fuorescent substance 15. The filament 16 is prolonged in a direction orthogonal to the direction of a line state section 2a (main scanning direction A) on an original and provided with optical correspondence at a position at the center D between centers C of adjacent lenses of the lens array 3. Thus, the distribution of illuminance on the original compensates the luminous amount transmitting characteristic of the lens array 3, allowing to uniform the distribution of illuminance of the light sensor 4 in the main scanning direction. |
