PURPOSE:To make a receiving level of an outgoing/incoming subscriber in a partial digitized network constant (-4 dB) at all times independently of the change in a connecting route to an opposite exchange station, by inserting suitably a level adjusting pad. CONSTITUTION:After a path from an outgoing subscriber 1 to an incoming subscriber 7 is set at central controllers 28, 53 and 68, voice information from the outgoing subscriber 1 is transmitted in the level of 0 dB and given to a relay station 5 without attenuation since a pad 275 is brought to 0 dB. Since a time division switch 51 in the relay station 5 connects the exchange of the information in the direction shown in the arrow, the said voice information is receive at an incoming station 6 in the level of 0 dB without being attenuated and further, attenuated by 4 dB at a 4 dB pad 675. Thus, the receiving level of the incoming subscriber 7 is brought to -4 dB. Further, it is desirous to adjust the said pad so as to be modified and controlled with the program in terms of the software. |
