PURPOSE:To make it possible to the water-proof attachment of a photograph, a decorative plate or the like, by a method wherein an opening part is provided to the central part of the bottom surface of a back lid to be inlaid with a plate made of synthetic resin, ceramics or the like and a water-proof packing is arranged between the opening part and the plate. CONSTITUTION:To the upper end of the outer peripheral rising part of a bottomed dish shaped core 3, a flange part projected to the outer periphery is provided and an engaging protrusion 3a is formed from a part of said flange. A large opening part 2A is formed to the central part of the back lid 2 and, in the outer peripheral part thereof, a core 3 is adhered to the bottom surface of said lid by welding or soldering. A photograph 9 or the like is arranged in the opening part of the back lid and pressed from the upper surface thereof by glass 4. A plastic packing having intermediate hardness is contacted with the outer peripheries of the opening part 2A and the glass 4 and develops function for fixing the glass and, at the same time, the water-proofness to the interior of the glass. By this method, a decorative element can be added to a portable watch in addition of water-proofness. |
