PURPOSE:To speedily place a pier at an arbitrary location and enable to unload a large quantity of cargo from a cargo boat or the like after placing the pier, by providing a movable-type floating pier. CONSTITUTION:A floating pier is constituted of a landing ship 1 and a floating body 2. The ship 1 is landed or bottomed at an arbitrary site for the floating pier. Openings 10, 11 are connected by a vehicle passing surface 12. The opening 10 on the land A side is connected to the land A by an ordinary gangway bridge 13. On the other hand, the opening on the sea side is connected with the floating body 2 floated on the sea. The floating body 2 is provided with a buoyancy sufficient to load vehicles X, and the upper surface thereof is made to be a pier surface 1 on which the vehicles can pass. The pier surface 15 constitute a surface continuous with the vehicle passing surface 12. The floating body 2 is extended to a position where the depth is sufficient for an ordinary cargo boat to reach. |
