PURPOSE:To prevent a contact between the fan and the shroud by supporting the radiator vertically on the left and right front axle brackets under the engine. CONSTITUTION:The engine E is mounted on the front axle bracket via the vibration-absorbing rubber 20. The radiator 6, radiator fan 8 and fan shaft 15 are supported on the front axle bracket 10. The engine E is a small size engine in which the crankshaft 3 is vertically arranged and the piston is made to reciprocate in the fore-aft direction. The flywheel is placed in the upper position. The transmission case and the radiator fan drive pulleys 12, 14 are installed in the area between the left and right front axle brackets into which the crank- shaft 3 is protruding downward. Therefore, even when the engine E moves in the fore-aft and up-down directions, the radiator fan does not move, and the contact with the radiator shroud is prevented. |
