PURPOSE:The titled composition that is obtained by adding a plasticizer such as diburyl phthalate and a curing catalyst to an oil-modified alkyd and a specific acrylic polymerizable monomers, thus being a nonsolvent type coating composition which gives coating films with weathering resistance and high adhesion to metal and good gloss. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) 100pts.wt. of an oil-modified alkyd, (B) 50-200pts.wt. of liquid acrylic polymerizable monomers which solubilize the component A and are liquid at 20 deg.C, (C) 10-50 pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of components A and B in total, of a plasticizer, such as liquid chlorinated paraffin, dibutyl phthalate, dioctyl phthalate, dioctyl sebacate or octyl diphenyl phosphate and (D) an appropriate amount of a curing catalyst.
