PURPOSE:To provide a flow direction control unit including a blow-off path which is rectangular in section and has a flat wall on one side and a curved wall on the other side, and a flow control wing rotatably disposed in the blow- off path, which can deflect and shunt the flow without changing the blow-off airflow so as to heighten comfortableness during air-conditioning. CONSTITUTION:One longitudinal wall of a blow-off path 5 rectangular in section which is connected to a blowing source 4 is a flat wall 6, and the other thereof is a curved wall 7 which is gradually expanded. The flat wall 6 is provided with a bas projection 8 for deflecting a part of the flow toward the curved wall 7, and a rectilineal wall 9 is formed downstream from the wall 6. A flow control member 10 is mounted in such a manner as to turn on a shaft 11 and substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the path 5 in the blow-off path 5. The flow control member 10 comprises a circular-arc head portion 10a, the center of which is eccentric to the shaft 11, and a bias operation portion 10b and a shunt operation portion 10c which are connected thereto. In this arrangement, the flow can be deflected and shunted without changing the blow-off airflow to heighten comfortableness during air-conditioning. |
