PURPOSE:To obtain the dust cap for a speaker which can be easily molded with high stability of dimension by obtaining a composite film by mixing fine fiber of a potassium titanate into thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:A composite film made of polyester resin such as PET, PBT, etc., where the thermoplastic resin contains fine fiber of the potassium titanate, or polyacrylate, etc. is formed into a hemispherical shape with a flange by a thermoforming process. The strength of the composite film is improved satisfactorily owing to the fine fiber of the potassium titanate which has 20-30mum mean length and 0.1-0.3mum mean diameter for instance. Such fine fiber is mixed by 15-20wt% to the thermoplastic resin. This improves both heat resistance and physical properties as well as the molding properties and quality. |
