PURPOSE:To perform reading and writing at high speed with high precision by providing a photosensor which has plural photodetection parts in an array, a light source part which generates plural pieces of luminous flux in time series, and a deflector which has a deflecting and reflecting surface. CONSTITUTION:A reading circuit 16 reads the quantities of light incident to an array of photodetection parts of the photosensor 11 successively by making an electric scan on an original M, and converts them into a time series signal Sl. An output signal S1 is inputted as a picture signal S2 to a modulating circuit 25 and plural pieces of luminous flux emitted from the plural light emission parts of the light source part 21 are modulated successively by a modulating circuit 25 according to the picture signal S2 to scan on a photoreceptor 22 in a direction B. The pitch of the photodetection parts of the photosensor 11 is made fine to improve read density easily, and an A/O deflecting element is used to record several tens - several hundreds of lines at a time by the single deflection of a deflector 12, so that the processing is expected to be speeded up greatly. |
