PURPOSE:To provide a flow direction control unit where opposed walls of a blow-off path rectangular in section are a flat wall and a curved wall, and a flow control member is disposed across the blow-off path and provided with a branch internal path, which can accomplish a large deflection without any change in airflow. CONSTITUTION:A flow direction control unit comprises a flow control member 10 rotatably disposed in a blow-off path 5 including a flat wall 6 with a bias projection 8 for deflecting a part of flow downward and a curved wall 7 opposed to the wall 6 and gradually expanded. The flow control member 10 has a head portion 10a formed substantially in a circular arc, the center O of which is eccentric to a rotary shaft 11. The control member is formed like a column in such a manner that one side on an extension line of the head portion 10a is a bias operation portion 10b, and the other side is a shunt operation portion 10c shaped substantially like a circular arc. In this case, the interior of the flow control member 10 is provided with an internal path 100 for blowing off the flow put in from an inlet 100b mounted on the bias operation portion 10b through outlets 100a, 100c mounted on the head portion 10a and the shunt operation portion 10c. |
