PURPOSE:To suppress the cost for equipment and increase the efficiency, by compressing the air fuel mixture directly by a compressor, putting the mixture in contact combustion in a catalyzer, and thereby eliminating the use of dynamic equipment such as compressor and pump for pressurizing the fuel. CONSTITUTION:Gas fuel sent through a fuel supply pipe 2 is mixed with the air inhaled from a suction pipe 1. The temp. of the mixture compressed by a compressor 3 rises, and the mixture is uniformly mixed and sent to the combustion chamber 4. The catalyzer 5 provided in this combustion chamber 4 performs a contact combustion. This mechanism of contact combustion with catalyzer is such that a catalyzer such as platinum or iridium is vapored fast on the surface of a grid bearer made of a heat resistant material and therethrough the preheated fuel gas at 300 deg.C is passed in contact. Thus the oxidizing action of the catalyzer will produce a high-temp. gas at about 1,000 deg.C without generation of flame. |
